- Large eggs, 8
- Pure vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
- Half-and-half or milk, 5 cups
- Honey, 3 tablespoon
- Grated orange zest, 1 tablespoon
- Kosher salt, ¼ teaspoon
- Confectioners’ sugar and maple syrup (for serving)

Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice the challah loaf into 3-4 inch thick slices. Put the slices in a baking dish that measures 9x13x2 inches.
