How to make Ruth’s Chris Creamed Corn

This is an easy recipe. I’m going to show youI’m going to show you how I made it. I just went through a lot of what I have and have not used. I will have a points system on how to make things so you can be successful.

Ingredients

  • PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, 6 ounces (Cubed)
  • Unsalted butter, 1/4 cup 
  • Garlic, 3 cloves (minced)
  • Milk, 1/3 cup 
  • Corn kernels, 2 cups (frozen, canned, or roasted)
  • Dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon 
  • Black pepper and Kosher salt, to taste
  • Shredded cheddar cheese, 1 cup 
  • Chopped fresh parsley leaves, 2 tablespoons 

Instruction

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare a 9-inch baking dish by lightly oiling it or spraying it with nonstick spray.

Step 2

In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, combine cream cheese, butter, and garlic. Mix in milk until smooth, about two minutes. Add corn and stir to combine for two minutes. Add thyme; season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 3

Spread corn mixture in the prepared baking dish; sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the oven until bubbly, 15-17 minutes.

Step 4

Garnish with parsley, if desired, and serve immediately.
