Follow this step-by-step guide to make Raised Donuts:

Step 1

In a small bowl add warm water and sprinkle it with yeast powder. Let them stand for about 5 minutes.

Step 2

Take another large size and add 1 cup of flour, salt, sugar, yeast mixture, egg, warm milk, and butter. Mix them slowly for a few minutes. When thoroughly mixed, add the remaining flour and mix until the dough formed does not stick to the bowl.

When the donuts rise to the surface, turn their side. Fry them so that both sides are golden brown. Take them out and place them on a cooling rack. Meanwhile, use paper towels to absorb excess oil from them.

In a bowl mix honey, warm water, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to make the glaze. Dunk the warm donuts in the glaze and take them out. Again put on a cooling rack to allow the excess glaze to drain off.
