  • Honey, 1/2 cup 
  • Salt (optional), 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon 
  • Vegetable oil, 2 tablespoons 
  • Vanilla,1 tablespoon 
  • Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked), 3 1/2 cups
  • Chopped pecans (optional), 1/4 cup 
  • Diced fried mixed fruit, 1 1/2 cups 
  • Ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon 

Step By Step Instructions To Make Quaker Oats Granola

Step 1

Combine oats and pecans in a large bowl; stir well. 

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. 

Step 3

Mix honey, oil, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt together in a small bowl. Mix well with the oat mixture. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes. 

Step 4

Spread evenly on a parchment-lined 15×10 inch baking sheet. 

Step 5

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every 10 minutes. 

Step 6

Sprinkle with dried fruit and allow to cool completely. 

Step 7

Cover tightly and store for up to a week.
