Ingredients

  • Extra large eggs (slightly beaten), 3 
  • Sugar, 1 cup
  • Butter (melted), 2 tablespoon
  • Dark corn syrup, 1 cup
  • Vanilla, 1 teaspoon
  • Jack Daniel’s, 1/4 cup
  • Chocolate chips (Semi-sweet), 1/2 cup
  • Whole pecans, 1 cup
  • 1 10-inch pie crust (unbaked)

Instructions

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix together the eggs, sugar, butter, corn syrup, vanilla, and whiskey. Stir well and strain.

Step 2

Over the bottom of the crust, sprinkle most of the chips. Top with pecans. Spread the filling over the chips and pecans. Sprinkle the remaining chips on top. 

Step 3

Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted halfway between the center and the edge comes out clean.
