- chocolate chips (any choice), 1 cup
- coconut oil, 1/2 cups of
- Unsalted butter, 2 sticks
- Maple syrup, 1 tbsp
- Sugar, 3-4 cups
- Baking Powder and Soda, 2-3 tsp
- Flour, 2 ½ cups
- Salt to taste, 1 tsp
- Milk, 3 cups
- Eggs mixed in a bowl, 4
- Vanilla extract, 4-5 tsp
- Heavy whipped cream, 2 cups
- Vanilla Pudding mix (any choice), 1-package
Prepare the cake’s base by mixing sugar, flour, and baking powder together. Mix the dough thoroughly with a blender. Then, add baking soda and wait for the dough to become fluffy after adding some milk.
While mixing, add sugar for a sweet flavor. To make the cake dough fluffier and smoother, add the prepared egg mixture and salt. Add vanilla extract while blending to enhance the vanilla flavor.
Place the prepared cake mixture in a greased baking dish and bake at 330 degrees for 15 minutes, or until the top layer turns light brown. Next, make the frosting. Pour the heavy whipped cream into a mixing bowl.
Add vanilla pudding mix and sugar. Then, using a hand mixer, combine all the frosting ingredients until the mixture is thick. When the mixture becomes a thick mousse texture, spread it on top of the baked cake to form a creamy layer.
Put the cake back in the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the buttercream for the top third. Add the remaining cream to the melted butter. Then add vanilla extract and maple syrup to enhance the flavor. Whip properly to get a smooth mixture.
The upper layer of the cake should be covered with the buttery cream texture after it has been baked.
The homemade Costco fudge cake is now ready to be served after being cut into desired shapes.
