- Butter, 2 tablespoons
- Onion, 1/2 cup (chopped)
- Flour, 1 tablespoon
- Half-and-half, 2 1/2 cups
- Frozen corn, 2 (16 ounces) packages (thawed, rinsed, and well-drained)
- Anaheim chilies (or Jalapeno), 2 tablespoons (diced)
- Salt, season to taste
- Cayenne pepper, season to taste
- Sugar, 1 tablespoon
- Parmesan cheese, 2/3 cup (grated)
- Gruyere cheese, 1/4 lb (shaved pieces for top)
Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter in a large skillet or saucepan. Over high heat, add onions and sauté until soft, about 2 to 3 minutes.
