  • Black Pepper, One-FourthTeaspoon
  • Diced Ripe Mango, One Cup
  • Habanero Pepper, One 
  • Water, One Cup
  • Gluten-Free Tamari, One-Fourth Cup
  • Ground Ginger, Half Teaspoon
  • Garlic Powder, One-Fourth of a Teaspoon
  • Honey, One-Third Tablespoon
  • Water Mixed with Two Tablespoons of Cornstarch, One-Fourth Cup

Instructions

Step 1: 

Ensure that the oven is preheated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a baking dish using foil. In a bowl, combine the chicken, salt, pepper, and oil. Bake at 400°F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Step 2: 

While the chicken is baking, prepare the sauce. To make the sauce, combine 1 cup water, tamari, habanero pepper, and mango in a food processor. Process until smooth.

Step 3: 

Put a small saucepan on medium heat and bring to a boil. In a bowl, combine the ginger, garlic powder, and honey. Heat on medium-low.

Step 4: 

Stir in the cornstarch and water slurry until the mixture becomes thick. Allow the sauce to thicken and warm for 5-10 minutes. Maintain a warm environment while the chicken cooks.

Step 5: 

Once the chicken is fully cooked, set the oven to broil. Broil the chicken for 5 minutes, until it is crispy. Take it out of the oven and coat it with the sauce.
