FAQs

While cooking the sausage, should I pierce the casing or not?

Different people have debates on this. However, I prefer to not pierce the casing because it will leak the juices inside the sausage. Moreover, these juices help in the cooking process. So it’s good if we don’t lose them to piercing.

Which is a better option for sausages, frying or baking?

Sausages cook and taste best when baked. However, frying them is also not a bad option.

Can I store my leftover sausages?

Uncooked, hard, and unopened sausages can be safely stored in the refrigerator for as long as you want, or in the pantry for 6 weeks. The cooked sausages can be stored for 4 days.

Can I cook the Italian sausages in the air fryer?

Sausages can also be cooked in the air fryer. Just put them in the air fryer basket, and cook at 360 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, flipping the sides after 5-minute intervals. Cook until done.
