Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons scallions, minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • oil, for frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix together the cream cheese, onions, and garlic powder in a small bowl.
    In a heavy-bottomed pot, heat oil to 350 degrees.
  • Add water to the edges of the wonton wrapper with your finger after placing 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture in the center.
  • The center of each side should be pushed into the middle and pressed together.
  • Connect the small wings that come out of the middle once the middle is connected from all four sides.
  • Start by frying the wontons you made first, as they will be the driest when they're done.
  • In a large pot of hot oil, cook the rangoons until golden brown (about 10 minutes for all wontons).
