1/4cupWater Mixed with Two Tablespoons of Cornstarch
Instructions
Ensure that the oven is preheated to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Prepare a baking dish using foil. In a bowl, combine the chicken, salt, pepper, and oil. Bake at 400°F for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
While the chicken is baking, prepare the sauce. To make the sauce, combine 1 cup water, tamari, habanero pepper, and mango in a food processor. Process until smooth.
Put a small saucepan on medium heat and bring to a boil. In a bowl, combine the ginger, garlic powder, and honey. Heat on medium-low.
Stir in the cornstarch and water slurry until the mixture becomes thick. Allow the sauce to thicken and warm for 5-10 minutes. Maintain a warm environment while the chicken cooks.
Once the chicken is fully cooked, set the oven to broil. Broil the chicken for 5 minutes, until it is crispy. Take it out of the oven and coat it with the sauce.
Broil the chicken for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until crispy or sticky, whichever you prefer. Enjoy.
