Ingredients
  

  • 12 jalapeno peppers approximately 3-4 inches long
  • 1 8-ounce block of cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 12 slices of bacon, do not use thick cut
  • cooking spray

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Spray cooking spray on a sheet pan lined with foil.
  • To remove the seeds and ribs, cut the jalapenos in half lengthwise and scoop them out with a spoon. 
  • Salt, pepper, onion powder, cream cheese, and cheddar cheese together in a medium bowl. 
  • Mix the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half.
  • Use a toothpick to secure the bacon slices to each pepper half after cutting the bacon crosswise.
  • Put the peppers on the baking sheet, place the bacon on top, and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the bacon is crispy and browned. Prepare and serve right away.
