Cheddars Honey Dijon Chicken Recipe

Cheddars Honey Dijon Chicken Recipe

This Cheddars Honey Dijon Chicken Recipe is one of my favorites. It’s simple, delicious, and perfect for a family dinner or a quick weeknight dinner. It’s a great recipe to use in a pressure cooker, and it’s a delicious way to use up a summer’s worth of honey.

Ingredients

  • 4 Chicken Breast Boneless and Skinless
  • 1 1/2 tsp Dried Herbs Thyme, Oregano, Basil,Rosemary, 1-½ easpoons
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • Salt to Taste
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper to Taste
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms Sliced
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Low-Sodium
  • 2 tbsp Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tsp Honey

Instructions

  • Prepare the chicken by pounding it to a thickness of 3/4 inch. Add the dried herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the chicken.
  • Make sure the chicken pieces are well coated with the seasoning by rubbing them. It will add flavor and seasoning to the mustard mushroom chicken dish.
  • Over medium-high heat, cook chicken for about 5 minutes per side until it reaches 165°F. Lower the heat if the chicken browns too quickly.
  • Cover the skillet with a towel to keep the chicken warm. Continue to cook the mushrooms in the same skillet, turning them frequently, until softened.
  • Bring the chicken broth, Dijon mustard, and honey to a boil in the skillet; simmer for one to two minutes, stirring constantly, until sauce has reduced by half and has thickened a bit.
  • You can serve the Dijon chicken and mushrooms with wilted spinach and rice, if desired.
