Jello with Fruit Cocktail

Jello with Fruit Cocktail

Making jello fruit cocktails is a simple, interesting, and fun-loving activity. Before moving ahead, let me clear one thing: this is not a healthy dessert. But a healthier and better alternative for jello lover kids due to the presence of fruit cubes.

Ingredients

  • 3 -ounce package Flavored gelatin (I used strawberry flavor)
  • 15 ounce Cocktail fruit
  • ¼ cup Reserved juice of fruit cocktail
  • ½ cup Cold water
  • 1 cup Hot water

Instructions

  • Take a large bowl and add flavored gelatin mixture (jello) into the bowl.
  • Pour one cup of boiling water into the gelatin mix. Continuously stir it with the mixture for 1-2 minutes to remove crystals or lumps if any.
  • Also, add drained fruit cocktail, ¼ cup reserved fruit cocktail juice, and cold water. Combine all the ingredients through proper stirring.
  • Keep the bowl uncovered in the refrigerator for 5 hours. After 5 hours, stir to mix the fruit evenly in the jello.
  • Serve jello with the help of a large spoon once it sets and gets refrigerated.
