1 ¼teaspoonsSalt
1teaspoonChili Powder
¾teaspoonGround Black Pepper
½teaspoonCayenne Pepper
¼teaspoonPaprika
¼teaspoonOnion Powder

⅛teaspoonGround Cumin
48ouncesShortening
2tablespoonsHot Sauce
1teaspoonWater
Instructions
Pre-heat the shortening to 375°F in the fryer.
Add the flour, cheese topping, salt, and ground black pepper to a medium bowl. Add cayenne pepper, chili powder, and paprika as well. Lastly, add onion powder, garlic powder, ground cumin, a dash of ground cloves, and mix everything together.
Prepare each wing by coating it with this breading and placing it on a plate. Put the plate in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to let the breading set.
Place the wings in the fryer and fry them for about 8-10 minutes, until they are crispy and golden brown.
Take the fried wings out and place them on a rack to drain off the excess oil.
Take a small bowl and mix the hot wings with the water. Toss the wings in the hot sauce so that they are completely covered.
Put the wings on a serving plate after gently removing them from the bowl. Outback Steakhouse Wings should be served with blue cheese dip and celery.
