Pf Chang's Salt and Pepper Prawns Recipe are incredibly simple to make, but they can take a very long time to prepare. You’ll need a food processor, oil, garlic and some salt and pepper. It usually takes 10-15 minutes to cook the prawns and they taste delicious.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon Szechwan pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Black peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons Flaked sea salt
  • 2 tablespoons Rice flour
  • 750 gram Medium green king prawns (shelled and cleaned leaving tails intact)
  • 1⁄2 cup Peanut oil
Lime And Chili Dipping Sauce
  • 750 gram Brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
  • 1 clove Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 small  Fresh red chile (finely chopped)
  • 1 tablespoon Coriander leaves (Chopped)
  • Lime juice (plus wedges to serve
  • 1⁄3 cup  Lime juice (plus wedges to serve)

Instructions
 

  • Sugar and vinegar can be combined in a small frying pan and stirred until sugar dissolves.
  • Cool, then add the remaining ingredients to the sauce.
  • Using salt and pepper, season to taste.
  • In a small pan over low medium heat, dry roast peppers and peppercorns for 2 minutes or until fragrant, then cool.
  • Rice flour, salt, and roasted peppers are ground until coarsely ground.
  • Prawns should be placed in a bowl and coated with pepper mixture.
  • Fry the prawns in batches until they are cooked for 2 minutes or until the oil is hot.
  • Drain onto absorbent paper
  • With lime wedges on the side, serve the prawns immediately with dipping sauce.
