- All-Purpose Flour, 3 Cups
- Baking Powder, 2 teaspoon
- Kosher Salt, 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon (Divided), 1-1/4 teaspoon
- Ground Nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon
- Unsalted Butter (Melted and Cooled), 2 Sticks Sugar (Divided), 1 Cup + 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla Extract, 2 teaspoon
- Almond Extract, 1/4 teaspoon
- 3 Large Eggs
- Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, 1 Cup
- Coarsely Pecans (Chopped), 1/2 Cup
- Walnuts or Slivered Almonds, ½ Cup
Instructions
Step 1
In a medium bowl, whisk together 3 cups all-purpose flour, 2 teaspoons baking soda, and 1 teaspoon kosher salt. Combine well. Add 1 tbsp. Of ground cinnamon and 1/4 tsp. Of ground nutmeg.
Step 2
In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine 1 cup of melted butter, 1 cup of sugar, 2 tsp of vanilla extract, and 14 tsp of almond extract. Mix at medium speed for about 5 to 7 minutes, until finely combined.

Beat 3 eggs on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes or until they are thickened and pale yellow in color.

Mix the dry ingredients now. Mix on low speed until well combined. Add 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts, and 1/2 cup of chopped pecans.
