Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 12 oz (3 cups) Chopped or shredded Velveeta cheese
  • 2 cups Milk
  • ¼ cup All purpose flour
  • ½ tbsp Hot sauce
  • ¼ tsp Ground black pepper
  • ¼ tsp Granulated garlic
  • ½ tsp Salt

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, melt the butter on a medium-high heat. Then add the flour to melted butter and stir well to combine both of them. Keep mixing until the paste or roux is formed.
  • In this roux, slowly add the milk and stir continuously. Then keep whisking on medium heat for 5 minutes so that the paste thickens.
  • When the roux has been thickened to the desired level, remove it from the stove. Add the cubes or shreds of Velveeta cheese to the hot paste. Whisk well to melt and mix the Velveeta cheese.
  • Then add salt, black pepper, granulated garlic, and hot sauce to the cheese sauce. Again stir well to combine all the ingredients.
  • The yummy Velveeta cheese sauce is ready. Serve it with pasta, tortilla chips, or any other dish. Bon Appetit!
