Cracker Barrel Buttermilk Pie is an American dessert. This easy to make pie is usually made with vanilla or chocolate pudding, sweetened with sugar. Then a thick (buttermilk) layer is put on top of that to ‘glaze’ the top of the pie.

1  (9 inches)  Pre-made pie crust (unbaked) 1  cup  Buttermilk ½  cup   Unsalted butter (melted and cooled) 3  large  Eggs 2  tablespoons  All-purpose flour 1 ½   cups  Sugar ⅛  teaspoon  Nutmeg ⅛  teaspoon  Cinnamon ⅛  teaspoon  Salt 1 ½  teaspoon  Vanilla extract 1  tablespoon  Lemon juice  
The oven should be preheated to 350 degrees. Melt the butter and allow it to cool. 
Combine the eggs and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined. 
With a hand mixer, mix all remaining ingredients until smooth. Pour into a pie crust. 
Bake the pie at 350 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes or until it is firm.
