Cherry Cordial Ice Cream Recipe
It has a sweet and tangy taste, which makes it my favorite summer cocktail. The cherry cordial recipe is based on a combination of frozen maraschino cherries, vanilla extract, and cherry flavoring whipping cream.
Ingredients
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 2 cups whipping cream, unwhipped
- 1 (14 ounces) can of eagle brand sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
- 1 (10 ounces) jar maraschino cherries, well-drained and chopped (without stems)
- 3⁄4 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond extract
- red food coloring (optional)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to an ice cream freezer container and mix well.
- According to the manufacturer's instructions, freeze the product. Leftovers can be frozen.
