The banana pudding mix and chopped bananas provide a delicious, creamy pudding for this recipe. They’re rich and delicious but they also have no refined sugar or sweeteners at all.
3.4ounceboxed instant banana pudding mix or you can use instant vanilla pudding mix and 2 Tablespoons of banana extract flavoring
2eggs
⅓cupmilk whole or 2%
Vanilla Wafers for topping (about 15 or more if you like!)
Instructions
To make the brownies:
Spray a 9x13 baking dish with cooking spray and preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Remove from the heat.
Melt the butter and combine the brown sugar in a large bowl. Mix well after adding each egg one at a time.
Salt, baking powder, and flour are combined in a separate bowl.
Once the wet ingredients are combined, add the dry ingredients. The dough will form when the ingredients are mixed together.
Spread the dough evenly across the baking dish.
Bake the baking dish for 25 minutes in the oven.
How to Make Banana Topping
In the meantime, blend the pudding mix and cream cheese together. Once the milk and eggs have been added, stir slowly. Make sure you blend it for 3-5 minutes to get it nice and thick.
Put the vanilla wafers on top of the brownies after baking for 25 minutes, and then spread the pudding mixture over the top.
After baking for 25 to 30 minutes, place the baking dish back in the oven.
Allow the brownies to completely cool in the baking dish before serving.
Note: It is normal for the brownies to be a bit soft in the middle when they are first baked. Make sure to let the brownies cool completely before serving, so they will "firm up" a bit.
