This family-favorite recipe combines the simplicity of potatoes with the creaminess of Hellmann's mayonnaise, resulting in a bowl of pure bliss. And when it comes to potato salad, there's no better recipe than Hellmann's original potato salad.
2pounds(about 5-6 medium) potatoes, peeled and sliced into 3/4-inch pieces
1cupHellmann’s mayonnaise
2tbspvinegar
1 1/2tspsalt
1tspsugar
¼tspground black pepper
1cupthinly sliced celery
½cupchopped onion
2hardboiled eggs, peeled and chopped
Instructions
Prepare salted water in a 4-quart pot. Using medium-high heat, bring the potatoes to a boil. Once the potatoes are fork-tender, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for a few minutes after draining.
Mix the mayonnaise, vinegar, salt, sugar, and pepper together in a large bowl. Add potatoes, celery, onions, and eggs and toss gently.
Make sure you refrigerate it for at least 30 minutes. It can be served chilled or at room temperature. You'll love it!
