Bistro Steak Recipe

The bistro steak is flavorful and savory; and ready in the minimum amount of time. Especially if you have chili spice rub and bar americain steak sauce ready, making bistro steak is a matter of minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • four 12 ounces Boneless rib-eyes
  • Canola oil
  • salt

For Chili Spice Rub:

  • 2 tsp Dry mustard
  • ¼ cup Ancho chili powder
  • 2 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Ground cumin
  • 1-½ tsp Sweet paprika
  • 2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 2 tsp Ground coriander

For Bar American Steak Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • ¼ tsp Freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup Molasses
  • ½ tsp Kosher salt
  • ¼ cup Whole grain mustard
  • 1 tbsp Drained horseradish

Instructions
 

  • First, make the chili spice rub by mixing all the ingredients.
  • Make the bar American steak sauce. Mix Honey, Ketchup, Dijon mustard, Freshly ground black pepper, Molasses, Kosher salt, Whole grain mustard, and Drained horseradish in a bowl. Whisk them together until all of the ingredients are fully incorporated into one another. Then place in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to 1 day.
  • Brush the boneless rib-eyes steak with canola oil. Then season the brushed steak with salt. On one side, rub the chili spice rub. 
  • Turn on the grill to high heat. Heat it and then place the steak on it. The rub side must be down. Grill on high for 3-4 minutes.
  • Then flip the steak and cover it. Grill for 5-6 minutes more.
  • The bistro steak is ready. Serve with bar americain steak sauce. Bon Appetit!
