Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring cups
  • Spoons
  • Mason jar
  • Squeeze bottle

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup Beef stock
  • ½ cup Apple butter
  • 1 teaspoon Minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • 2 tablespoon Liquid smoke
  • 2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Anchovy paste
  • 1 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Lime juice
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Distilled water vinegar

Instructions

  • Take a saucepan and heat it over medium flame.
  • Pour some butter into the heated saucepan. Once the butter melts, add flour and whisk it thoroughly. Cook the flour in melted butter for 3 minutes until it starts bubbling.
  • Take a bowl and add liquid smoke, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, distilled white vinegar, corn syrup, lime juice, anchovy paste, tomato paste, apple butter, minced garlic, black pepper, and beef stock. Mix all these ingredients with a whisker to homogenize it.
  • Keep incorporating roux into it slowly while whisking. Make sure to add ¼ cup every time. Let the sauce boil properly before adding the next ¼ cup into it. Don’t forget to cook the roux for a minimum of 3 minutes to eliminate the rawness of the flour.
  • Reduce the flame and allow the mixture to simmer for 10 minutes, or until the sauce becomes thick. Enjoy the delicious steak sauce!
