Chicken Crispers (Chili's Copycat)

The chicken crispers have a very light texture of the crispy coating and the inside meat is so juicy and tender that you simply can not refuse them. They are made with ingredients that make them rich in taste and lovable in texture.

Ingredients
  

For Chicken:

  • 10 Chicken tenderloins
  • 6-10 cups Vegetable oil
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 cup Self rising flour
  • ¾ cups Chicken broth
  • ½ cup All purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 1-½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper

For Honey Mustard Dressing:

  • cup Mayonnaise
  • ¼ tsp Paprika
  • Cayenne pepper = a pinch
  • ¼ cup Honey
  • tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions
 

  • First, make the honey mustard dressing by mixing all the ingredients of the sauce in a small bowl. Then cover the bowl with a wrap and place it in the refrigerator.
  • Take another medium-sized bowl and add milk, salt, black pepper, lightly beaten egg, and chicken broth in it. Mix them. Then whisk them for 30 seconds. 
  • Then add self-rising flour and whisk it in. Leave it unbothered for 5 minutes. 
  • In a Dutch oven, place the vegetable oil. Then heat it to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  • Place the all-purpose flour in a bowl. Take the chicken tenderloin pieces one by one and coat them with all-purpose flour. Then dip the coated chicken pieces in the rising flour batter.
  • When 3-4 tenderloins have been coated and dipped in batter, fry them in the heated oil for 7-8 minutes until they turn golden brown. Take them out and place them on a plate that has been lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  • Repeat the same steps with other tenderloins. Chicken crispers are ready! Serve with the honey mustard sauce. Bon Appetit!
