Nutella and Peanut Butter Sandwich Recipe

Nutella and Peanut Butter Sandwich are a breakfast favorite and they make excellent lunch boxes.  These two jammy delights usually have much more of a mess in common than you’d like, so I find this recipe to be an enjoyable way to exploit the fact they make such a good combo.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 heaped tbsp Nutella
  • 4 heaped tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 8 slices Sourdough (or other firm bread)
  • Butter, as needed
  • Sliced Banana or Berries, to fill (optional)
  • Pinch of Chia Seeds, to fill (optional)
  • Icing/Powdered Sugar, to finish (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Butter one side of each slice of bread, then flip them over so they are butter-side-down. 
  • Half of the slices should be spread with Nutella, while the other half should be spread with peanut butter. 
  • Add sliced banana or berries to the Nutella slice, as well as a pinch of chia seeds (optional).
  • Place the peanut butter slice on top (butter-side up). Put both sides in a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook until golden. This may need to be done in two batches.
  • Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and enjoy!
