Cheesecake factory Jamaican black pepper shrimp is the ultimate Jamaican recipe. It’s delicious and extremely popular throughout the Caribbean. The trick is to simply make this dish by using fresh garlic and Cayenne Pepper, salt, and ground Black Pepper in the ingredients list.

Ingredients
  

Shrimp

  • 1 pound uncooked large 41-50 count peeled and deveined Shrimp (tails removed)

Shrimp Seasoning

  • 1/4 cup White Rice Flour
  • 1/3 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Thyme

Sauce

  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1/3 cup minced Garlic
  • 1 cup Beer of choice
  • 4 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Black Molasses
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick Perfect Pinch Caribbean Jerk Seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 cup KC Masterpiece Marinade Caribbean Jerk
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, place shrimp.
  • Add flour, cayenne, black pepper, salt, and thyme to another bowl. Mix well.
  • Over the shrimp, sprinkle the mixture. Toss to coat completely. Place aside.
  • In a large saucepan, combine chicken broth, garlic, beer, Worcestershire sauce, molasses, and McCormick Perfect Pinch Caribbean Jerk Seasoning. Be sure to mix well.
  • Then place it over medium-high heat. Stir constantly for about 5 minutes while cooking.
  • Brown sugar, KC Masterpiece Marinade Caribbean Jerk, and butter should be added.
  • You need to keep stirring the sauce constantly for another 5 minutes or so until the sauce starts to thicken.
  • Turn the heat down to medium.
  • Add the prepared shrimp. Cook shrimp, stirring occasionally, until they are done.
  • Then serve hot and Enjoy.
