You can serve it in a bowl or use a loaf pan. It's best when fresh, but frozen is also great.This chicken velvet soup is made with a few simple ingredients including a chicken broth and cooked chicken breasts, a couple of half-and-half, butter, milk, and white pepper.

Ingredients
  

  • 3⁄4 cup Flour
  • 3⁄4 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Warmed milk
  • 1 1⁄2 quarts Hot chicken broth
  • 1 cup Warmed half-and-half
  • 1 1⁄2 cups Shredded cooked chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon White Pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, melt the butter.
  • Melt butter over medium-high heat; add flour and cook for 1 minute.
    Keep aside.
  • Make a large pot of milk, broth, and cream.
  • Bring to a boil without boiling.
  • Cook until mixture thickens by adding butter-flour mixture and stirring.
  • Add the remaining broth, salt, and pepper to the cooked chicken.
  • Bring to a boil, but do not overheat.
  • Make the dish colorful by adding frozen green beans or grated carrots.
