Ingredients
  

  • 1 package White cake mix (regular size)
  • 1 package Strawberry gelatin (3 ounces)
  • 3 tablespoons Sugar
  • 3 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Water
  • ½ cup Canola oil
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup Finely chopped strawberries
Frosting
  • ½ cup Butter (softened)
  • ½ cup Strawberries (crushed)
  • 4-1/2 to 5 cups Confectioners' sugar Recipe

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grate the bottoms of two 8-inch cake pans. 
  • Line parchment paper with baking pans. Grease parchment paper.
  • Mix cake mix, gelatin, sugar, and flour together in a large bowl. Add the water, oil, and eggs and beat until smooth. Continue beating for 2 minutes. Add the chopped strawberries. Pour into the prepared pans.
  • 25-30 minutes is the time to bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Place on wire racks to cool for 10 minutes; remove the paper. Let cool completely
  • Beat butter until it is creamy in a small bowl. Add crushed strawberries. Add confectioners' sugar gradually until desired consistency is reached. Frost the top and sides of the cake.
