I’ve made a few schnapps recipes in the past, but this one is quite different from the ones I’ve seen before. First of all, I’m not very good at making bitters or syrups at home, so the Peppermint Schnapps Recipe is a little bit more complicated than previous recipes. Although a simple combination of vodka and sugar, it’s important that you use good quality, clean vodka when making schnapps. If you want to make it more authentic, then you can use rum instead of vodka.
It is summer, and for most of us, we’re about to head outdoors and enjoy the sun. But for others, the weather isn’t quite as forgiving as it should be. For instance, those who live in northern climates might have a hard time enjoying the glorious summer weather. This is particularly true for those who dislike the smell of alcohol. For example, those who live in the Midwest might have trouble smelling the alcohol that is often found in any amount of schnapps.
Peppermint schnapps is a popular (and delicious) classic cocktail. It is often used in food and cocktail recipes to give a peppermint flavor and kick to drinks. The famous drink was invented in England by James Bond of the British Secret Service during the 1930s and was supposedly named after the bar of a boarding house at Charlie’s Club in Cambridge, UK. Peppermint schnapps was introduced in the 1940s and has been enjoyed by all generations ever since.
