2 Mrs Fields Sugar Cookies Recipe
Mrs Fields Sugar Cookies is among the most popular cookies. While sugar cookies made from ingredients you may already have on hand are perfectly acceptable, many people choose to make sugar cookies using cookie cutters or nifty sugar cookie stamps. These cookies are ridiculously easy to put together and look incredible.
- 1 ½ -2 cups All-purpose flour (any choice)
- ½ teaspoon Salt to taste
- 2-3 cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs mixed in a bowl
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups Colored sugar (if available)
- 2 sticks Unsalted butter
To make the crispy crust, combine all-purpose flour and salt in a large bowl. Whisk well so the flour and salt mix well.
In a food mixer, blend the butter sticks and sugar at medium speed to make sweet cream. After blending, add the eggs and make a smooth cookie mixer.
Blend for a couple of minutes at high speed after adding the vanilla extract. Once the flour mixture has been prepared, pour it in and blend well to get soft cookie dough.
Once the dough is soft and fluffy, put it in a bowl with a paper towel and place it in the refrigerator for an hour. Once the dough is firm, roll it on a greased baking sheet and cut into desired pieces.
Bake the cookies wrapped in foil paper at 350 degrees for 15 minutes until they turn brown and crisp.
