The French Meat Stuffing is made from ground meat, combining both beef and pork, which means you can enjoy both portions of meat in the same dish and get double nutrition. Along with this, the potatoes also add to the taste and nutrition of this stuffing.
In a large skillet add the ground lean beef and ground pork and cook them on a medium flame. Cook until the meat is browned.
Then add water, nutmeg, cinnamon, poultry seasoning, onions, brown sugar, and diced potatoes to the cooked ground meat. Stir well and cover the skillet.
Reduce the flame and keep it low. Simmer the mixture and keep simmering for 20 minutes.
Then add salt, black pepper, butter, and all-purpose flour. Mix them and cook again for 5-8 minutes. Check if the mixture has thickened. If not, cook for 2 more minutes.
