Ingredients
  

For Salsa

  • 14 ounces Chopped tomatoes
  • Chopped cilantro, handful
  • 2 teaspoons Lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Chopped red chillies
  • ½ Minced red onion
  • ¼ teaspoon Crushed chili
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic

For Shrimp Marinade

  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 2 teaspoons Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons Lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • Chopped parsley, a handful
  • ¼ teaspoon Crushed chili
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic

For Tortilla Filling

  • 4 Flour tortillas
  • 6 ½ ounces Peeled shrimp
  • ½ cup Grated cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • To make salsa, mix all the aforementioned ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir. Keep the mixture aside for at least thirty minutes. 
  • Afterward, take another bowl and mix all the ingredients required for making marinade. Also, add 6 ½ ounces of shrimp into it. Mix the shrimp properly in the marinade to cover them shrimps. Keep the marinated shrimp in the refrigerator for half an hour to get better flavor. 
  • When the shrimp get marinated, place a pan over the stove and pour some marinade into the heated pan. Afterward, add marinated shrimp to the pan and cook them until their color changes. 
  • For tortilla assembling, you need to lay the tortilla flat on a plate and spread salsa over the tortilla with the help of a spoon. Add 6 to 9 fried shrimp over salsa and sprinkle grated cheese over it. Properly fold the tortilla by rolling it from the bottom and closing it from all sides.
  • Take a skillet and pour some oil into it. Heat the oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit temperature. Place filled tortilla wraps into the skillet and fry for 10 to 15 minutes. Keep cooking until both sides of the tortilla turn golden brown.
  • Delicious chimichangas are ready to serve. Enjoy it with salsa, sour cream, or sauce of your choice.
