Being a working lady, it’s not easy for me to make breakfast for the whole family every morning. That’s why I love this recipe. These cake waffles can be cooked in just 15 minutes. No doubt 10 minutes are required to prepare for making the batter.
¼cupKodiak Cakes Power Cakes Flapjack and Waffles Mix
1mediumRipe banana
3largeEggs
1cupMilk
⅓cupPlain Greek yogurt
2tablespoonChia seeds
1tablespoonMaple syrup
1tablespoonCoconut oil
1tablespoonBaking powder
1 ½tablespoonVanilla extract
¼teaspoonSalt
1teaspoonBaking powder
¼cupDark chocolate chips
Instructions
Take a waffle iron and preheat it. Spray cooking oil on the preheated waffle iron.
Pour all the above ingredients except chocolate chips into a blender. Turn ON the blender to mix all the ingredients at high speed.
Let the batter stay for 5 minutes to attain the desired consistency. If it seems thick, add some more milk.
Add chocolate chips to the batter and stir.
Pour batter on the waffle iron and cook it until the waffle turns golden brown. It usually takes five to six minutes. However, you can cook it for up to 10 minutes if you want crispy waffles.
Repeat the above step to make all the waffles. Garnish it with the topping of your own choice. Enjoy having it with peanut butter, chopped walnuts, maple syrup, or banana slices.
