Sometimes in this life, we get tired of eating all fancy and complex stuff. We crave something classic yet simple. Something simple to make and simple in taste. To quench this feeling, I have brought the recipe for this Sweet Cream Pound Cake.
Preheat your oven to about 325 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease the tube pan with butter and line it with wax paper.
Take a bowl and add butter and granulated sugar to it. Beat/cream them until they are smooth. Then add one egg and beat it until it is completely combined. Add the second egg and repeat the same procedure until all 6 eggs have been subsequently added and mixed.
Then add half of the all-purpose flour and mix it. When it is mixed, add half of the total whipping cream and mix again until it is well combined also.
Then add vanilla and lemon juice. Combine and add the remaining flour. Mix it and add the remaining whipping cream. Beat well to mix everything completely together.
Pour this batter into the greased and lined tube baking pan. Bake in the preheated oven for an hour and 20 minutes.
Take out the pan once the cake has been baked and let it cool for 5 minutes. Then invert the baking pan into a serving dish and top with your desired toppings if you wish. Sweet Cream Pound Cake is ready. Serve. Bon Appetit!
