Chicken Limone Recipe

Chicken Limone is a delicious and simple dish that uses lemon zest sauce and fresh garlic. It’s available in different flavors and is normally served with pasta. With chicken limone coming in a bright lemony and tangy color, this recipe is the perfect way to celebrate springtime.

Ingredients
  

For Chicken:

  • 1 pound chicken breasts, boneless & skinless, slightly flattened
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • lemon zest, from one lemon
  • lemon juice, from one lemon
  • ½ teaspoon salt, plus more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 teaspoons parsley, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ground black pepper, to taste

To Serve:

  • 1 cup vegetables, per serving
  • ½ oz lemon slices, per serving

Instructions
 

  • Combine flour, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Incorporate the flour mixture evenly, then dredge the chicken in it.
  • Oil your skillet and heat it over medium heat.
  • Sear all sides until golden, not longer than 5 minutes. Set aside the drained water.
  • Butter, lemon zest, and garlic are added to the same skillet. Until translucent, saute until golden.
  • Reduce briefly after deglazing with lemon juice.
  • Place the chicken back in the skillet and add the chicken broth. It will take approximately 8 to 10 minutes for the sauce to reduce and the chicken to become cooked through.
  • Combine parsley with the remaining ingredients.
  • Salt and pepper to taste. Make adjustments as necessary.
  • With vegetables of choice and lemon slices for garnish, serve.
