Texas Toast Bread Recipe
It can be made with various toppings, but the basic recipe is just bread and butter. To make toast bread, start by slicing a loaf of bread into thin pieces. Spread butter on each slice, then place the slices on a baking sheet.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf of English Muffin Toasting Bread, cut into 8 to 10 slices
- 3 tablespoons (35g) garlic oil
- 3 tablespoons (43g) butter, melted
Instructions
- To prepare the griddle, heat it to medium.
- Slice the bread into 3/4" to 1" thick slices.
- On both sides of each piece of bread, spread the garlic oil and melted butter.
- On both sides, fry the bread until golden brown.
