Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fresh cracked pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon cooking oil
  • 4 bone-in pork chops, one inch thick (about 2.5 lbs.)

Instructions

  • Heat the oven to 350°F. Mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper to make the honey mustard sauce.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of salt and freshly cracked pepper on each side of the pork chops after drying them off with a paper towel. In a medium-high skillet over medium heat, heat one tablespoon of cooking oil.
  • Add two pork chops at a time to the skillet and cook for three minutes on each side until golden brown. You can overlap the pork chops slightly in a casserole dish after they are browned.
  • Put the pork chops in the casserole dish and brush both sides with honey mustard sauce. You should bake the chops until the internal temperature reaches 145°F, or about 30 minutes for chops that are one inch thick, and about 20 minutes for chops that are ¾  inches thick.
  • When the chops are golden brown and bubbly, switch the oven to broil and broil for 3-5 minutes.
