1 whole Pie Crust 6 cups Peeled and Sliced Granny Smith Apples 1/2 lemon juice ½ cup Brown sugar 4 tablespoons Flour ¼ teaspoon Salt ½ cup Flour 1 1/2 stick Butter 1 cup Brown sugar ½ cup Quick oats ½ teaspoon Salt ½ cup Pecans ½ jar Caramel topping
Prepare a bowl of apple slices by peeling and slicing them. Mix together lemon juice, sugar, flour, and ¼ teaspoons salt.
Crumb topping is made by cutting butter with a pastry cutter and mixing it with ½ cup flour, brown sugar, oats, and salt.
Prepare a pie shell and fill it with apples. Sprinkle the top with crumbs.
Bake it in a 375-degree oven for 25 minutes covered with aluminum foil. Let it cool for 30 minutes and then remove the foil.
Prepare pecans by cutting them into small pieces. Sprinkle pecans over the top before the last 5 minutes. Remove the pie from the oven.
Pour ½ jar of caramel topping over the cake and let it cool. It can be served right away if you don't want to wait. Have fun!
