Longhorn Salmon Recipe

This recipe is perfect for anyone that’s trying to make their first Longhorn Salmon or has a craving for a good Longhorn Salmon meal. In this recipe, you can use any kind of salmon, but instead of cooking it, you can freeze it in a bag until you’re ready to cook it. This Longhorn Salmon Recipe makes a great appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Salmon fillets (each weighing around eight ounces)
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped chives
  • 1 cup Bourbon
  • ¼ cup Pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Brown sugar
  • 1 dash  Salt
  • 1 dash  Ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch Garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Add the pineapple juice, brown sugar, bourbon, and soy sauce to a bowl. Stir well to combine. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
  • Put the salt, pepper, and garlic powder in a bowl. Stir it well. 
  • Salmon fillets should be skinless and clean. 
  • Set the fillets in a baking dish and pour the marinade mix over them. Gently toss the fillets. Set aside.
  • The fish should sit in the marinade for two hours. Refrigerate the dish to keep it fresh. 
  • After two hours, remove the dish and pour olive oil over it. Grill the marinated fillets on the stovetop. You can also fry them on medium heat to your liking. As the fillets cook, continue to brush them with the marinade mixture. Each side should be cooked for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Remove from the heat and serve with rice and vegetables of your choice.
